Bali Airport served nearly 20 million passengers for first 10 months to target 22 million on the end of 2018.

Total of 19.8 million passengers served by I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Increase of more then 10 % compared with 2017. The total number of passengers was served by a total of 135,662 aircraft for ten months this year.

 

In recording the Air Traffic Traffic Statistics (LLAU), there was an increase, both an increase in the statistics of the number of passengers, and the number of aircraft in comparison with the recording period of January-October last year.

With a total of 19,855,559 passengers, compared to the accumulation in the period January-October 2017 as many as 18,165,344 passengers, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport noted an increase in the number of passengers by 1,690,215 people, an increase of 9.3%. While in recording aircraft statistics, there were an increase in the number of aircraft as many as 12,667 aircraft, or an increase of 10.3% compared to the records in the same period a year ago.

With the addition of 2,131,401 in October, the average passenger served each day rose to 65,314 passengers per day transported by 446 aircraft, compared to the period January-September 2018 where an average of 64,924 passengers were transported through 443 aircraft.

As is known, last October theIMF-World Bank Group Meetings Annual Meeting 2018_ was held, in which a total of 15,000 delegates entered Bali via the International Arrival Terminal, and approximately 19,000 delegates passed the Domestic Arrival Terminal. With a total of 34 thousand delegates served during the implementation, including 358 VIP delegates transported in 33 aircraft, one of the factors that increased the number of passengers and aircraft was quite significant in this January-October 2018 period.

In addition, at the end of last October, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport welcomed the inaugural flight from Russian airline Aeroflot-Rossiya Airlines. With the addition of these flights, it is projected to be part of the contributing factors for the increase in the number of passengers and aircrafts.
