After the attempt to smuggle with three tuna pickups to Java on 18/11/2018 the Gilimanuk Sea Regional Police Sector finally destroyed the 4 tons of Tuna. 

 

Extermination was carried out at Gilimanuk quarantine by grave. The destruction of three pickups of tuna was secured at the port of Gilimanuk on 21/11/2018 because the fish had begun to rot.

The tuna was sent from Karangasem to Muncar, Banyuwangi without supplementary Health document from Quarantine origin and not reported at Gilimnauk Port Quarantine as a port of expenditure, maggots have also been eaten.

So if it is allowed to wait for the legal process to be completed it will become more rotten and destroyed.

According to article 45 paragraph 1, we will destroy it. Because the tuna is easily damaged," said Kanitreskrim, Gilimanuk Marine Sector Police Commissioner Komang Muliyadi.

For the sake of investigation, said AKP Muliyadi, from each pickup, five samples were taken.
