New regulation letter released on December 30 2020 announcing temporary closing borders for foreigners of the Indonesian territory

1) Temporarily refuse all visa applications;

3) Deliver information that foreigners holder of ITAS / ITAP and / or Re-entry permit which will expire and are currently abroad during the temporary closing of the entry of foreigners into Indonesian territory, can extend online through the online stay permit application.

Head of Immigration Division:

Conduct and report periodically regarding guidance, control, and supervision of the implementation of the policy of temporarily closing the entry of foreigners into Indonesian territory.

Head of the Immigration Office in charge of Immigration Checkpoints:
1) Refusing to give entry stamp for foreigners to the territory of Indonesia based on the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights
Human Number 44 of 2015 concerning Entry and Exit Inspection Procedures Indonesian Territory at the Immigration Checkpoint;
2) Conduct supervision and control related to the inspection immigration and signing of entry to:
a) Holders of diplomatic visas and official visas related to official visits by officials foreign ministers and above,
b) The holder of a diplomatic stay permit
c) Holders of limited stay permits and permanent stay permits
d) The crew of the transportation means entering by means of their transportation
3) Carry out and periodically report on the development, control, and supervision of the implementation of the policy of temporarily closing the entry of people foreigners to Indonesian territory.
