Body of reported missing sea walker guide has been found after 4 hours rescue operation in Serangan

A water sports tour guide reportedly drowned in Serangan waters, Denpasar Bali was found by the SAR team.

The victim's body was found on the seabed around the scene at a depth of 5 meters.

Previously, at 3:16 a.m., Wednesday (10/24/2018) Denpasar Search and

Relief Office received a report from one of Sea Walker Water Sport Gold Island guides

who disappeared after diving around Serangan port, Denpasar.

The victim  named Dodik (30), a local guide from Denpasar, was reported as missing since 1:00 p.m.

The SAR team then fielded a team of 20 people to the scene to conduct a search.

The search was conducted by sweeping around the location of the disaster area using an inflatable Boat

 

The head of the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office (Ketasarnas) Ketut Gede Ardana explained that the victim was finally found at 5:10 pm after diving. 

"We dropped 2 divers from Basarnas and assisted 1 diver from fellow victims," ​​he explained on Wednesday (10/24/2018) 

In the SAR operation it also involved the potential of SAR from the Denpasar Polresta Water Police 10 people, Bali Police Sabhara 2 people and Balawista Badung Regency 1 person.
