If a comparison is made with the period January - March 2018 then, where there were 5,168,916 passengers coming in and out to Bali. There was a passenger increase of 4.4 percent.During the first three months of 2019, the number of passengers on the domestic route was 2,327,725 passengers, with details of 1,155,996 passengers from the arrival route, 1,109,916 passengers who left Bali and 61,813 passenger transfers. In the same period in 2018, the number of passengers on the domestic route was 2,525,249, with 1,278,476 passengers coming to Bali and 1,237,138 passengers from the departure route, and 9,635 transfer passengers. If comparison is made between the two periods, in the first quarter period of 2019, there is a decrease in domestic route passengers by 197,524 passengers, down 8.5 percent compared to the same period in 2018. As for international routes, there were 3,069,774 passengers from foreign routes going in and out of Bali via airports in the first quarter of 2019, with details of 1,556,228 passengers from departure routes, 1,495,240 passenger arrival routes and 18,306 transfer passengers.

 While for the first quarter of 2018, there were 2,643,667 passengers on international routes, with 1,348,047 passengers on international departure routes, and 1,295,620 passengers on arrival routes. With this data, there is an increase in the number of passengers on international routes in the period January - March 2019, amounting to 16.12 percent or an increase of 426,107 passengers, compared to the first quarter period of 2018  Contrary to the number of passengers, note that the number of aircraft movements in the first quarter of 2019 has decreased slightly. 

Compared with the record period of 2018, where the number of movements reached 37,763 movements, in this year there were only 36,519 aircraft movements, or down 3.3 percent.
