366.666 tourists visited Bali during  new Year holiday period from December 17, 2020 until January 3 , 2021.

The domestic tourist who travelled by air, land and sea transportation was according the Bali governor a good performance . Especially with handling Covid-19 in good conditions  and  to build the trust of local, national and international communities, that we can be optimistic that tourism and the economy of Bali will rise again he said.Even when present in Bali, most domestic tourists respect the health protocols and following the PCR-based swab test for travellers flying to Bali  and the rapid antigen test for travellers using land and sea transportation.

No increase of Covid-19

In general, the tourism business service establishments handled well with the health protocols. For the  moment there was no significant increase in positive cases of Covid-19, ”explained the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster during a press conference with the Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, dr. Ketut Suarjaya, and Head of the Bali Provincial Transportation Agency, I Gde Wayan Samsi Gunartha regarding the Handling of Covid-19 in Bali on Tuesday (05/01/2021) at Gedung Gajah in Denpasar.
